the Spider Lady



The seeming mastermind behind the Brain Spiders, the Dream Widow was driving Amelia Greenberg to recreate a disease that spread in Norfolk, Virginia. She is something called an Azlu.


This creature appears to be an attractive young woman with long dark hair at first glance. But then she reveals an extra set of arms as well as four huge spider-like legs. In dreams she appears as either a young woman or as a blond haired little girl.



An experiment by Erasmus, the Azlu once known as Innocence used to be a bit of a waste as far as the other Azlu are concerned. They would have eaten her if she didn’t hide so well. Unknown to most she is able to travel in Dreams and even the Astral. There she feeds on pain and misery, tormenting captured prey.

After the destruction of her original hive, she was the only one to escape whole. She managed to snack on a few of the surviving crawlers before taking up the Shard’s offer. There she reached a strange Azlu puberty.

Her second home was also lost and now 2 years later she has moved across the country to Seattle. Here she has found no werewolves or mages to hunt her. As the last of the first batch of Abyssal Azlu she is working to make more of her kind. To finally complete her journey, from child-like Innocense to the beautiful Dream Widower to the Abyssal Crone, mother to horrors.


This creature appears to be an attractive young woman at first glance. A large growth bulges on her back hidden by her clothes. Within her puffy cheeks is a nightmarish mash of grinding limbs. In dream she either makes herself a normal little girl or a large spider beast, with large fangs dripping with poison.

Wimper, pretend to be scared, pretend to be vulnerable. Humans, at least one or one are not a threat. Make sure there are no witnesses.

Profiling: Primary -2 vs. pool of 8 and all there is to find is the original host Jennifer Drake who was reported dead in 2005 in Norfolk, VA.
